Professor Wil van der Aalst is one of the most cited data scientists and computer scientists in the world, with over 100,000 academic citations. Widely regarded as the godfather of process mining, his research laid the foundations for using event data to reveal how organisations actually operate.
Wil-bot is a conversational AI video interface built on the world’s most comprehensive process mining knowledge base, leveraging the human brand of Wil van der Aalst. It addresses Celonis’ core challenge across industries and regions: explaining what process mining and process intelligence are - and how they create business value - by letting the world’s leading expert answer those questions anytime, anywhere, in any language.
The project was developed by Celonis, the Celonis Academic Alliance, and students at Technische Universität München, with video and voice demos powered by HeyGen, ElevenLabs, and BeyondPresence.ai.
